Head suspended in finance probe

A head credited with turning around a school has been suspended after a probe into its finances. Police have been called in to investigate at Quintin Kynaston School in north-west London. Jo Shuter, headteacher since 20w02, said the allegations were "malicious and vindictive". She was named head of the year at the 2007 Teaching Awards and appointed CBE in 2010.
