Heads' warning over pensions

Headteachers' leaders in England have taken the "exceptional step" of writing to the Prime Minister and the Chancellor warning that plans to overhaul teachers' pensions will derail the Westminster Government's school reforms. The Association of School and College Leaders and heads' union the NAHT said that opposition among heads to the changes is "unprecedented".
