Higher comes closer

University centres are to be set up across Somerset with the help of five local colleges.

Bridgwater, Somerset, Strode, Yeovil and Richard Huish colleges are all members of the Somerset University Partnership Project (SUPP).

The programme, which includes the universities of Plymouth and Bournemouth and the county council, has secured provisional funding for the centres, which will allow people to access higher education locally.
