Ash Green Primary in Mixenden, Halifax, has won its appeal to have its key stage 2 results downgraded. The school was stunned to find 98 per cent of pupils graded as level 4 or above in English this summer, with 70 per cent at level 5. Acting head Mungo Sheppard said: "It was ludicrously high."
