History - Peruse the museums menu

3rd September 2010 at 01:00

The new National Museums Scotland schools programmes are now available online and on Glow, the schools intranet hosted by Learning and Teaching Scotland.

Offering a range of workshops and continuing professional development activities through events at all five museums across Scotland - National Museum of Scotland, National Museum of Flight, National Museum of Rural Life, National Museum of Costume and National War Museum - the programmes will help teachers deliver Curriculum for Excellence in both primary and secondary.

The teacher-led visits include free resources, teachers' notes and ready- to-use activity sheets for pupils. A number of topics are cross-curricular and the website describes which level they are pitched at for CfE.
