History: movement and settlement

What is it?

This is a collection of resources for secondary history shared by TES contributors. The resources look at how people have moved to, and settled in, the UK and beyond. It focuses on the diverse nationalities that have immigrated into the country and some of the complex reasons why certain groups have chosen to leave.

How can it be used?

These resources help you to develop an appropriate approach to this topic with a new class, or be used as supplementary material for your own resources. There are lesson plans, project ideas and essay writing.
