I snapped over Ofsted's plans

1st March 2013 at 00:00

Regarding last week's story "Half of LAs may soon face snap inspections", where does this misguided thinking come from? If government policy was supportive of the roles of local authorities and this was reflected in financial support, the logic would be apparent and so probably supported. This is not the case. Shame on the chief inspector for trying to justify the irrational.

Tim Peskett, School governor and HE leadership tutor, Northampton.
