ICTArtsMusic - Diamond resource - Jubilee Woods

18th May 2012 at 01:00

TES partner the Woodland Trust is asking people across the UK to take part in the Jubilee Woods project and plant 6 million trees.

What is it?

Princess Anne is the patron and the project aims to create hundreds of Jubilee Woods around the country - a natural tribute to the Queen that will grow and develop through generations to come. Select a new tree to plant in school grounds or work with your community to create local woodlands. For bigger projects, apply for free tree packs.

What else?

Free educational resources about plant care and identifying saplings are available online. To get involved, contact the woodland creation team on 0845 293 5689 or email jubileewoods@woodlandtrust.org.uk.
