CHILDREN OF THE STORM.

"In Britain the push for better exam results and league table placings has meant that the needs of refugee children are often ignored," says Children of the Storm, a charity running a nationwide campaign to get the Office for Standards in Education to recognise the need for schools to support refugee students. Other projects include: "Distribution of Square Fish", a free welcome and awareness-raising pack for refugee children and those working with them (send SAE for Pounds 1.50); a small grants scheme; and a study support club.
