HOLY BEASTS. Rose Thompson-McCausland at CTVC Studios is researching the history of the Nativity animals for a Channel 4 Christmas programme. She is keen to find organisations and churches which use animals in a lively and original way as part of their Christmas celebrations, and to hear about any local Christmas traditions dealing with animals. 0181 950 4426, fax 0181 950 1437.

Religious education teacher, Paul Hopkins, is a great believer in the use of games, quizzes and puzzles to teach his subject and would like fellow compilers of RE word searches, acrostics, crosswords and games to send their work to him. He will put them together and distribute back to all contributors, copyright free, for the cost of replication and postage (about Pounds 5 for a 100-page booklet). Address: Heritage School, Boughton Lane, Clowne, Derbyshire.
