Innovative teaching

The Royal Geographical Society with the Institute of British Geographers is offering five grants of pound;800 each to secondary geography teachers to encourage the development of innovative teaching materials and methods.

NQTs, GTP trainees and PGCE students are also eligible. Proposals of up to 1,200 words should be submitted by August 29. Details: Hannah Hartog, Grants co-ordinator, RGS (with IBG), 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR.
