Inspectors to call on creches

4th April 2003 at 01:00
AFTER-school clubs for young children are to be publicly rated as unsatisfactory, satisfactory or good by inspectors from this month. They will get ratings from the Office for Standards in Education, as will childminders, nursery day care, creches and holiday play schemes. Clubs are inspected if they care for under-eights and are run by a separate organisation or governing body to the school where they are based.
