Two former primary teachers and information technology trainers in Ayrshire, Suzanne Taylor and Susan Lauder, are behind a company that hopes to entice teachers to use electronic whiteboards for 5-14 lessons.

EDpaX, of Irvine, offers CD-Rom programmes of step-by-step interactive whiteboard lessons for level A language (phonics) and levels A and B maths, with printable planning pages and supporting worksheets.

English, science and religious and moral education lessons are planned for 2005.
