It's all green to them

Students from two Scottish colleges find themselves at present in the United States at the heart of major golf tournaments. Neil Cameron and Barry Crawford, greenkeeping and golf course management students respectively, are on placement from Elmwood College and will be involved in this week's US Masters at Augusta. Greenkeepers Stewart Macfarlane and Danny Murray, who trained at Oatridge College, will be taking part in preparations for the US Open in New York. Both colleges are involved with a programme at Ohio State University which offers internships to students from Europe and elsewhere who want to broaden their experience.
