Jacobites in Edinburgh

The Scottish Parliament's education programme is running a series of events to go with its major exhibition on the Jacobites, which starts on October 8. Events will include Historic Scotland activities for pupils at Edinburgh Castle; a CPD day for P6 to S2 teachers on November 3 with a tour of the exhibition, a discussion with MSPs on the significance of the Jacobites to Scotland and a tour of the Parliament; and a family weekend around St Andrew's Day, in which children can take part in quizzes, tours of the Parliament, storytelling sessions, dressing up sessions, theme- focused decoration, workshops and interactive games.
