A group of12 teachers at a failing school have escaped the sack after meeting their performance targets.The Office for Standards in Education found in January that 44 per cent of teaching was unsatisfactory at Ramsgate school. Two-thirds of its teaching staff were put on competency procedures in the summer. A dozen teachers resigned or were demoted soon afterwards, leaving 12 facing dismissal within a month.
