Learning centre bids invited;Bytes

The University for Industry is planning a networkof 1,000 learning centres to provide access to its services. Many courses will be delivered via PC workstations. Consortia of educational, trainingand business providers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are being invited to presentproposals to run at least 10 centres. The facilities will be dedicated to the UFI and will compliment the learning centres announced in the Budget. Applications close on July 16.
