Let the in-trays overflow

As a governor, I'm puzzled as to why, with schools claiming they will have to shed staff, The TES has published an incredible 372 pages of jobs over the past fortnight.

We've laid it on the line to our head - come September, his office job days are over. The education of our children in classes of manageable size is far more important than having all the paperwork up to date.

Governing bodies - and heads - take note.
