Lincolnshire in a different light

I MUST respond to the suggestion that Lincolnshire is a struggling county (TES, October 20).

My own large school is currently assisting a neighbouring smaller school to make significant progress towards an early conclusion of its special measures status.

This partnershipscheme, which has been extended to four more pairs of schools, reflects the efforts of our new director of education in ensuring a high-quality education service in the county.
