In the line of fire

30th March 2007 at 01:00

(Photograph) - An armoured vehicle took time away from the front line to endure a less threatening attack from an invasion of clambering teenagers last week. The Scimitar vehicle was at Havering College, courtesy of the local Essex regiment, the 9th12th Prince of Wales's Royal Lancers. Members of the regiment were at the college to give students an idea of life in the Army as part of their public services course. Photograph: Teri Pengilley
