Logged on to the sharing ideal

24th March 2000 at 00:00
I'VE JUST read the article about Leon Cych (Online magazine, March 10). It voices ideas that I've been thinking of for months.

The two which particularly jump out are: the value of teachers freely sharing resources; and the indexing of components of the literacy and numeracy strategies.

I intend to launch a site this summer and portion off the literacy strategy into sections. English teachers will be invitd to share resources and ideas. I also intend to post model policy documents.

It's crazy that 5,000 English teachers try to produce virtually the same worksheets when they could share 50 and edit them to match their classes. So if any teacher would like to be part of this, e-mail @10987654321.co.uk
