Still at Strathclyde, love comes cheap and raunchy on the Jordanhill campus. For pound;5 the staff dining room offered a three-course Valentine's Day lunch ("including toast") and among the choices were "Italian stallion" (soup), "Between the sheets" (lasagne), "Fishing for a date" (baked potato with prawns) and "Truly tropical tart" (strawberry and passion fruit). The toast, by the way, was a "Cupid's kiss" - a glass of Chardonnay.
