Caroline Coster, a teacherat Sandye Place middle school, Bedfordshire, likes to use the e-greetings site www.bluemountain.com as an introduction to e-mailing.

"Pupils can send free electronic cards to tie inwith RE studies onreligious festivals. For Judaism, for instance, there are cards forHannukah, Passover and Sukkot. After the pupils have sent their cards to a classmate, they can explain why the pictures are appropriate."
