What would you rescue if your school was on fire and why?

The Wish Factory, a picture book by Chris Riddell (Walker pound;4.99), holds "countless possibilities" for Pat Brudenell, a drama therapist who works with primary pupils in Buckinghamshire.

"It's a wonderful story, imaginatively illustrated, about a young boy, Oliver, who has bad dreams about a monster. One night, instead of the dream, a cloud arrive and takes Oliver to the Wish Factory, to make him a very special wish. It's an excellent resource for reassuring young children about their fears at bedtime, and for exploring their own ideas about wishes."
