Ysgol y Llan in Holywell, North Wales, has been awarded pound;980 for a project to create maths-related raps and rhymes for use in skipping and other playground games. More than a hundred schools across Wales applied for grants from mathcymru, an initiative which is supported by the Assembly government, and administered by the science education charity Techniquest.
