Magic bus

17th June 2005 at 01:00
An Isle of Man bus has been refitted with teaching facilities and the latest Apple kit. Alex Townsend, the IT teacherdriver, links his PowerBook by 3G phone to the internet and, using his laptop as a server, provides a decent connection to all 21 computers on board the bus. With 3G coverage across the island, even rural schools get good access. Inspired and affordable.
