Make the link 2006

12th May 2006 at 01:00
Many "global teachers" find the five-week attachment in Africa is just the starting point for an evolving partnership with the school they visit.

Returning teachers set up joint curriculum and global citizenship projects and teacher visits.

The TESHSBC Make the Link awards offer prizes totalling pound;25,000 for the best work on linking with European and other partners across the world.

The deadline for entries is July 21. Enter on our website: www.tes.co.ukMake_the_Link.

If your school is doing interesting link work, email us on Make_the_Link@tes.co.uk.

The Make the Link campaign is supported by HSBC and the British Council.
