Taster sessions in Mandarin Chinese and presentations on the uses of foreign languages in the workplace will be among the events laid on for more than 200 pupils at a conference on Monday to celebrate the European day of languages. Organised by CILTCymru, the event for 15 to 18-year-olds takes place at the Temple of Peace in Cathays Park, Cardiff.
