AS marking concerns

There are continuing concerns over the AS-level marking this summer, following the TES revelation of concern over drama results two weeks ago. Andrew Grant, chairman of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference, has said that schools are unhappy with the apparent drop in grades after new-style exams were introduced this summer. But Ofqual said there had been no recalibration of the standard.
