Maths - Summing up sound

24th October 2008 at 01:00

The connection between mathematics and music will be explored in a lecture at Aberdeen University next month.

As part of the university's autumn lecture series, David Benson of the university's department of mathematics will be one of six leading scholars sharing his thinking and showcasing pioneering research.

All the events begin at 6pm in King's College Centre on the Old Aberdeen campus, and will be followed by an informal wine reception. Professor Benson's lecture takes place on November 17.
