Mature NQT seeks rewarding work

13th October 2000 at 01:00
Teacher jobs cannot be filled? As a mature NQT in the south west, I cannot agree. Upon completion of a PGCE in technology in 1995, the only teaching opportunities that are available to me, even now, are supply teaching.

I am now considering expanding my search to other areas of England. The cost of resettlement and lack of knowledge of other areas are the only barriers I have to overcome.

Mike Robinson Peverell, Plymouth.
