Maybe she had it coming

Son of Thrope is too hard on himself ("Testing the boundaries", 25 May). Teachers who have a go at pupils over any trivial point are surely asking for some retaliation. To put it bluntly - don't tell them off over more than one or two things at a time and keep your strictures to educational matters. Senior staff should be impartial enough to at least let the pupil have their say without interruption.
