The prominent display of children's artwork has had a transformational effect on many a classroom. The Chrisi Bailey Award: the National Award for Media Arts by Under-10s, run by the Arts Council of England to mark the contributions of a pioneering photography teacher, has stimulated excellent work and marked the move into digital imaging and video work.
