Mod studies - Behind the scenes

12th February 2010 at 00:00

The Scottish Parliament's education service is running a new course for teachers.

Inside Parliament, which will be held on May 4-7, allows them to see behind the scenes. They will work with MSPs and attend First Minister's Questions, exploring citizenship and parliamentary democracy as well as creating new classroom resources.

The course is most suitable for teachers of social subjects, religious and moral education and expressive arts, although any will be considered for a place.

Travel costs, accommodation (if required) and some meals will be met by Parliament. Closing date is March 5.
