The ultimate in portability? The Handspring Visor handheld computer, a cheaper Palm Pilot clone, now has a plug-in modem to access the Internet on the move through a moile phone. The Xircom SpringPort modem (pound;97) connects to a slot on a Visor and gives access to email and the Web.
