Monster diet

Rubbish-eating sock monsters and the London-based textile recycling company LMB helped to encourage primary children in the South East to recycle 36 tonnes of shoes and 54 tonnes of clothes last year.

LMB offers assemblies and workshops on recycling, including making sock monsters. Schools can then get special bins for recycling clothing.
