LOLLIPOP Person of the Year Shirley Gates-Mutton is on her way to Barbados - thanks to a pupil who penned a poem in appreciation of her work. Mrs Gates-

Mutton, 40, from Twerton, Bath, beat off more than 1,000 hopefuls to scoop the title and holida after her traffic-stopping talents were highlighted by 11-year-old Abigail Burford, a pupil at nearby Oldfield Park junior school. Mrs Gates-Mutton also works as a special needs support teacher and meals supervisor, and is a school governor.
