National Maritime Museum

Another attraction hoping to widen participation using multimedia is the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. Adventures at Sea, a free CD-Rom, can be used alongside the museum's existing online resources at www.nmm.ac.uksearchstation.

Aimed at key stage 2, Adventures at Sea covers four main themes - journeys, people, places and ritain. More than 20 games are available and teachers can use more than 30 printable worksheets. Teachers' notes and curriculum maps are also included.
