National School Grounds Day

10th May 1996 at 01:00
(Photograph) - The second National School Grounds Day was marked at Currie High in Edinburgh by introducing four associated primaries to Currie's "woodland nature trail". Part of the janitor's garden has been returned to meadow and a courtyard converted into an outdoor classroom with two ponds. Kate Kenny, of the Grounds for Learning Partnership, will publish examples of best practice in a book due out in September
