16th March 2001 at 00:00
From Anglia Multimedia there's a new digital map service launched in conjunction with Ordnance Survey which gives all schools instant online access to the most detailed mapping of the UK. The service costs pound;8.00 per map tile, and is an alternative to the free local authrity service which can be time consuming for teachers. Anglia has also teemed up with 4Learning to offer ICT projects combining television and computers, including Communicate!, which covers internet and email skills for seven to 11 year olds.
