NGA elects new chair

Judith Bennett has been elected chair of the National Governors' Association three months after it was created.

The chair of Chalgrove community primary, in Oxfordshire, is a former secondary English teacher and has been a governor for eight years.

The NGA was created by the merger of the National Governors' Council and the National Association of School Governors.
