No balm to ease pension fears

2nd April 2004 at 01:00
The letter from Capita's Mike Addenbrooke (TES, March 19) fails to calm pension fears.

The re-award of a contract implies that Capita Hartshead are the "best", but of which shortlist and against which criteria?

His final sentence is inaccurate when it includes "employers who are responsible for submitting data to Capita".

This responsibility was taken from schools and passed to local authorities, since which time there appears to have been more than a little bungled bureaucracy.

I ask the simple question: why is my pension correct up to a date in the last century and not now?
