No easy option

I don't believe it! ("Psycho-logy an easy option?"TES, August 15). Just because there are record numbers of students taking this course does not mean it is easy. The results at AS show that unless students have mostly As and Bs at GCSE they will not pass the course.

I would like to see a graph comparing A grades and failure rates in psychology with other subjects. And I agree with Diana Dwyer, treasurer of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology, it should not be lumped with media studies.
