No opt-outs in Hammersmith

In your article on the new Labour front bench, you said the London Oratory School opted out of Hammersmith and Fulham (TES, November 11).

In fact, the school opted out of the Inner London Education Authority before Hammersmith and Fulham became an LEA in 1990. This is an important distinction: no school has opted out of Hammersmith and Fulham.
