No redeployment agreement;Letter

IN YOUR article on the redeployment of Bradford teachers (TES, January 8), you quote Diana Cavanagh, Bradford's director of education, as saying that the redeployment arrangements have been agreed with the Funding Agency for Schools.

No such agreement has been reached. The agency's view is that this is a matter between the schools and the local authority. We understand the schools' concerns and have supported those schools seeking a ruling on the legality of Bradford's arrangements.
