Nolan inquiry

The Nolan committee is calling for written evidence from further and higher education institutions, grant-maintained schools and training and enterprise councils by the end of October.

The committee's remit includes how local public spending bodies make appointments, relationships between boards and officers and staff and standards of openness. Submissions should be sent to The Committee on Standards in Public Life, Horse Guards Road, London SW1P 3AL.
