North East Surrey strike ballot;News in brief;FE Focus

Staff at North East Surrey College of Technology are to be balloted over possible strike action on Tuesday next week over management plans to cut the salaries of more than 60 lecturers by as much as pound;5,000 and their refusal to protect pension entitlements.

A recent survey of members of the lecturers' union NATFHE at NESCOT showed that only a quarter of them expected to be employed by the college in a year's time.
