North Lanarkshire primary teacher

The North Lanarkshire primary teacher who was removed from the register after being convicted of smacking his daughter in a dentist's waiting room is to appeal. The TC's disciplinary committee decided he was "unfit to remain in the profession". His case will be heard in the Court of Session, probably in the new year.
