OBE for former careers teacher

DAVID Andrews, 49, former president of the National Association of Careers and Guidance Teachers, was awarded an OBE in last week's New Year Honours. A former careers teacher, Mr Andrews now runs lectures and day courses for teachers. He also works as a government consultant and helped to write a new national framework for careers education, to be published early in the new year.
