Obsessed with who wears the trousers;Letter

18th June 1999 at 01:00
WIth reference to the article "Once more unto the breeches" (TES, June 4) regarding whether or not girls should be allowed to wear trousers in school, and measurement of skirt lengths.

We were particularly interested in the remarks of John Lea, the headteacher, that the parent in question "has become a bit obsessive" in her insistence that her daughter should wear trousers.

Just who is displaying the obsessive behaviour here?
